Exploring an estimate
You can use the painting calculators without giving us your name or contact details. The price calculations run in your browser. Changing a room, surface or paint choice does not by itself submit your project details or create a saved customer record.
When you choose to save
The optional Save my estimate form collects your first and last name, project street address, phone number and email address. Submitting it also sends your painting selections for populated interior and exterior projects. Our server checks those selections and calculates the saved price ranges. The private record includes your contact fields, project choices, verified ranges, a reference number and submission time.
We use this information to review your project and respond to your inquiry. Fields you type into the save form are not sent by the estimator before you submit it. Saving is not a booking, a final quote, an account registration or an email-marketing signup. The current estimator does not send an automatic confirmation email or connect submissions to an external CRM.
Approximate activity counts
We count estimator starts, generated estimates and successful customer saves in daily totals. These are activity counts, not a list of visitors or a count of unique people. The usage table does not store names, contact fields, project choices, IP addresses, session identifiers or browser fingerprints.
Your browser tab keeps a small set of session-storage flags and an expiry time to avoid repeatedly counting changes during a 30-minute window. No session ID is sent with these activity events. Event requests contain the event name and the site’s request-validation fields. Administrators’ estimator activity is excluded from these totals. Hosting servers still receive normal connection information when a request is made, as explained below.
Protecting submissions and access
Saved quote records are private WordPress records. The site’s administrators can review them; they are not published in the gallery, searchable customer pages or a public quote directory. The website and records are stored with our hosting provider, Hostinger, which supplies the infrastructure used to operate the site.
To limit abuse, the save service uses a salted hash derived from a submitting connection’s IP address for a 15-minute request limit. The quote plugin does not store the raw IP address in the quote record or usage table. It also keeps a token-derived key and a protected digest of a submitted request for a one-day duplicate-save check. These controls are separate from activity counting. Expired temporary entries may remain until the platform cleans them up.
Hosting, fonts, cookies and other websites
Hostinger and the site’s server/security services may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time to deliver, secure, cache and troubleshoot the website. Hosting logs and backups are separate from the estimator’s aggregate usage table and may have different retention settings.
The main page loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google’s font services, which receive connection information such as your IP address and the requested font. See Google Fonts’ privacy information. Project photographs and the logo on this website are served from our WordPress hosting.
The estimator uses the tab storage described above rather than an analytics cookie or advertising identifier. WordPress uses cookies for administrator login and related platform functions. This website does not require visitors to create an account or post comments to request an estimate. Links to social networks or other external websites take you to services governed by their own privacy practices; the main page uses ordinary links rather than embedded social feeds.
How long information stays
Saved estimate records currently remain in WordPress until an administrator removes them; there is no fixed automatic deletion schedule for these records. Records placed in WordPress Trash may remain recoverable until that trash is cleared by the platform or an administrator. Copies may remain in hosting backups or technical logs according to the provider’s settings. Deleting a quote does not subtract from the anonymous daily activity totals.
Questions, corrections and deletion requests
Call 406-530-5830 to ask about a saved estimate, correct its information, request a copy or request deletion. Give us the estimate reference if you have it. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before accessing or changing a record. Requests are handled manually; there is no customer self-service deletion portal. We will explain any information that needs to be retained for an ongoing project, records obligations or a dispute, and any limits involving backups or hosting logs.
